THE LONG ARC

To many, the world seems to be in extreme chaos, with the expectation that things will only get worse and that we will end up in a place of common disaster for everyone. 

That's a sad narrative. In part, it's unfortunate because it isn't true. We live in a world that has survived the Black Plague, Nazi Germany, and Covid-19. Out of these and hundreds of other societal tragedies, the world continues on a path where wealth increases dramatically; life spans get longer, and the ways and opportunities for people to help each other keep expanding.

The Long Arc has an educational mission of helping people understand the reality of improvement by innovation and how to balance against the dangers of its misuse. But TLA also endeavors to garner and distribute capital to up-and-coming innovators with ideas that help achieve greater prosperity, health, and life enjoyment in future generations.
